Cooperation Archer Daniels Midland and Lehmann&Voss&Co. KG

Since June 1, 2012 the LEHVOSS Group has been distributing the dispersing agents of US producer Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). These products, which are developed on the basis of renewable resources, constitute an interesting alternative of the known polymeric dispersants, are VOC/APE-free and in conformity with REACH. The ADM dispersing additives for inorganic and organic pigments are highly compatible with one another. Moreover, there is compatibility between aqueous and solvent-containing systems. This allows for the formulation of universal pastes. The amphoteric character and the low molecular weight result in benefits compared to known dispersing agents: improved wetting allows, for instance, shorter process times during manufacturing and more intense color shades in applications.

ADM (www.adm.com), headquartered in Decatur, IL, is above all known as a producer of food ingredients but develops also interesting products for technical applications on the basis of native raw materials. One of the focal areas is coatings for which a development and application laboratory is operated in the USA.
